Neil Fellowes

Sound Voices Trainer

Neil Fellowes is the lead trainer for our Sound Voices Bridgwater programme. He has substantial training experience and creating inclusive environments for young people to thrive as they develop their media skills, creativity and confidence. As a marketing director and media professional he helps organisations and individuals find their voice through storytelling, radio and digital content.

Based in Somerset, he works across community radio, women’s football and local business projects, bringing a warm, inclusive approach that builds confidence and connection.

Through his work with Sedgemoor fm and Bridgwater United Women’s Football Club, Neil has supported people of all ages to step in front of the camera, or get behind the mic, develop content and sharing their experiences in a safe, encouraging environment. He is passionate about using sound, creativity, and community to spark personal growth, whether that’s mentoring young people, or working with the local community.

Neil brings two decades of experience in marketing strategy, brand development and social media, and he loves making complex ideas feel simple and accessible. In the past he’s also been Managing Director of a speaker agency, working with leaders in politics, business, entertainment, and sport. In Sound Voices sessions he focuses on practical skills and coaching as he develops students create content.

Outside of training, Neil is involved in local business networking, video production, and creative projects that champion community stories, local sport, and women’s football.
