Sarah Copsey

SEND Lead

Sarah Copsey is our Sound Academy SEND lead and Thrive practitioner.

Sarah supports SEND needs within our After School Training, Pathway to Employment and Enhanced Skills programmes, and delivers Thrive-supported sessions in North East Somerset.

A strong background in Special Educational Needs with 14 years of experience, Sarah brings a range of specialist qualifications to the team. As a Thrive Practitioner, she has a proven track record in delivering targeted programmes helping students with Educational, Health and Care Plans. She found her passion for media at University, where she graduated with a degree in Media Communications.

Never did I think I would find an opportunity that enabled me to use both my passions in life. Being an experienced SEND-qualified practitioner and media graduate is a niche field of interest. I thought finding a job opportunity that combined the two was impossible. Then I found Sound Vision and it felt like I was coming home. I empower students, ensuring their voices are heard and they experience the joy of being creative with audio media. Working within a team that has the same vision and passion as me allows me to flourish, and achieve the best outcomes for the charity."
