Martha’s career spans both education and technology, with a deep commitment to creating opportunities for marginalised groups.
She began as a teacher in an area of deprivation, seeing first-hand the challenges inner-city young people face. Moving into the tech industry, she has managed large engineering teams at ITV and played a key role in launching ITVX. All the while, championing diversity initiatives that increased the representation of women in engineering.
“
Education is the foundation for reducing inequality. Some young people need opportunities created for them, and others just need the confidence to take them. Sound Vision does both - and that’s why I’m proud to be a trustee."
Passionate about helping disadvantaged people find their path, Martha has worked with charities focused on refugees, inequality, young people and women in tech. She actively mentors and trains others in both corporate and charitable settings, helping individuals grow in confidence and capability.
Martha has experience in making strategic decisions, ensuring resources drive meaningful outcomes. As a trustee of Sound Vision, she is excited to contribute her experience in education, mentoring and strategy to help young people thrive through creative training.
“
When young people are given the right skills and support, they can achieve more than they ever thought possible. Sound Vision creates those opportunities, opening doors to brighter futures."
